Synopsis
The vessel was carrying 10 divers, when flooding was discovered. The vessel sank whilst on its way back to harbour. All personnel were rescued.
Action taken:
No recommendations were made as a result of this investigation.
However, MCA conducted their own enquiries into the incident, resulting in changes to the concessions/ exemptions granted to vessels which predated the required Code of Practice.
