Safety Bulletins 2008
Safety Bulletins are produced when urgent safety issues emerge during the course of an investigation and the Chief Inspector decides to disseminate this important information in advance of the main investigation report being produced. The following Safety Bulletins were issued in 2008;
Fire on board fishing vessel Shark on 19 January 2008. Issued 20 February 2008.
Fatalities in enclosed spaces. Issued 11 July 2008.
Passenger fatality during disembarkation from a Class V passenger vessel on the River Thames on 17 August 2008. Issued 25 September 2008.
